What kind of internet connection do you have?  Who is your ISP?  Did you install software for your internet connection?

I have 2 new dimention 2400 computers using cat 5 cables to a intel hub. I have poor network speed. I have no immediate plans to hook to a internet connection. I have turned off firewalls.

When I update the orignal configuration of the computer has prompted. A wan miniport 11 is installed on network devices in device manager which has a yellow exclaimation mark. Otherwise the original configuration shows exclaimatuon mark in tray with newtwork icon with message stating low or no connection with 2 computer home network.

Could you please explain what the following sentence in your post means?

"When updatind is tried it install a wan tun miniport on network devices wich conflict with the broadband system card"

Try removing the WAN miniport from Device Manager.  Then reboot and try to install the drivers for your network card.  Don't install the drivers through Device Manager, instead just run the driver installation from either the CD or the download file.
