Problem with BCMWLTRY.EXE on startup Locking up Machine
Hi,
I previously had an error on shut down, cant find DWIN.EXE and I now have a problem with my Inspiron 9100 WAN settings crashing my computer. After removing the driver from within windows, and attempting to restart I am getting the error Popup window Unable to initialise BCMWLTRY.EXE
Click OK to terminate the application. The message reappears with a user environment error and is unable to load a temporary user due to insufficient user rights.
The last known config doesn't work and safe mode is the same. The error is the same.
The scandisk check is ok.
Explorer is also having a problem starting. Can I reinstall the drivers or windows using the dell / windows CDs without having to wipe and restart. I've already had to re-format the drive due to a previously corrupt MFT, which was caused by the Microsoft, Mcafee and dell updates, causing the machine to hang and requiring hard resets.
Please help!!

I've come to the conclusion that windows needs yet another full install, since the repair windows function leaves the problem as it is and everything I've tried keeps me locked out. I would like to take this oportunity to thank DELL, MICROSOFT and MCAFEE, for making this possible via their gigabytes of updates.
Question:
Can I rescue my Docs and Outlook settings by using the supplied disks in DOS?
I can't seem to open the folders.
