WiFi stopped working
I bought Dell Venue 8 Pro 5830 few days back.
First impression was too good. But when i installed updates then suddenly WiFi stopped working.
I uninstalled all the updates and restored tablet to the previous state. Still same problem. No wireless connection.
Then i updated my wireless driver to Dell Wireless 1538 WiFi/BT Driver 3.7.2.45425, A01
still no connection.
Please suggest what i should do...

NoopJ,
Can you run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.
Make and model of your wireless router and the type of security you're using? What channel?

Reply NoopJ,
First try changing the channel in your wireless router to channel 1, 6 or 11. I use channel 11.
Hit the Windows key and the x keys at the same time, click on command prompt(Admin), left click run as administrator. Type
netsh winsock reset catalog
This will reset the winsock catalog
Restart the computer and see if you can connect.

Reply Hi Rick,
Do you think its a network driver issue. From device manager i can see wireless driver with yellow sign. Attaching the screen shot.
I have tried uninstalling previous driver and installed latest driver Dell Wireless 1538 WiFi/BT Driver 3.7.2.45425, A01. Still i see same yellow sign.
Reply NoopJ,
I did not see the adapter listed in the Network Interface.
If you run Finding System Information at the bottom there is a list of network adapters. Is it listed there?
Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled
Is this system under warranty? If yes, contact Dell Tech Support.

NoopJ,
Two Microsoft Updates causing the problem.
So, make sure you've uninstalled KB2903939 and KB2907595.
Go to control panel, Windows Update, Installed Updates, look for KB2903939 and KB2907595 and uninstall both, then restart your computer.
