WLAN 1395 interferes with dell bluetooth
Inspiron 1525 with WLAN 1395 mini-card and Dell internal Blue Tooth.
Apple Airport Extreme dual channel b/g/n router.
Microsoft blue tooth notebook mouse 5000.
This mouse works perfectly EXCEPT when there is heavy LAN traffic such as backup to Synology Diskstation or a file upload, not a download. Seems like if the WLAN card is sending lots of bytes there is interference, not when it is receiving lots of bytes. Makes sense, I guess.
If one of the Macs is running a backup there is no interference but if either Dell 1525 is running a backup there is interference. Mouse movement is erratic to the point of being unusable on BOTH Dells. They are about 10 feet apart and one of the Macs is about 3 feet from one of the Dells but probably uses the 5gh band. Also have a Toshiba Tecra M2 with internal bluetooth and has no problems.
I checked the Bluetooth collaboration on the Dells and it is enabled.
I haven't found any way to do anything about this problem. Scrounged around on the net but generally problems are related to specific components. Everyone seems to think the Microsoft mouse 5000 works better than most in this situation.
Sure would appreciate any info on this..
