  • Faulty memory chip: One or more of the VRAM chips on the graphics card could be physically damaged, leading to corrupted data.
  • Overheating: Excessive heat can stress the VRAM, causing instability and errors.

  probably good idea not to stress the cpu in this case especially in a SFF which has a weaker cooler

@redxps630​ Thank you for your reply. Maybe the stresstest itself caused the overheating. Is there a way to replace the internal GPU? Or should I just disable the internal gpu and use a external gpu?

when you are using a dGPU and not using Intel multi display then the integrated gpu is not outputing video.

you can not replace the integrated gpu without replacing the cpu

@redxps630​ Thx for all your effort. I am going to run the stresstest again. If the error reoccurs then I'll get a basic PCI Video Card.  

i have this same issue too. games seem to run fine, but i'm noticing the issue with videos (e.g. streaming on twitch, hulu, disney+, etc), they all seem to be fine for a few minutes and then the audio isn't synced. been happening for about a month or so now. full scan texts with supportassist give the error, but quick scans all pass.

Sent in for repair, took about 2 weeks.

Received laptop back, couple weeks later, same issue.

I don't even think Dell knows what this error is.

Pretty disappointed thus far in the service I have received. 

Dell/Alienware was my go to brand, but now, I have lost that fan-boy feeling...

Dell claims this is a false positive error and that a fix is on its way for it, that it's to do with the SupportAssist specifically. And no ETA on the fix. So basically, they don't know what the error is or what's wrong with my PC and my original issue (with the sound/video not syncing) is still unresolved. I give up.
