E1000 Error
Hello all,
I added a second cpu to my T610 and now I get the E1000 error. the CPU is X5650 I have 2X 16gb ram in the correct slots for each processor. If I remove one processor the system boots correctly, I have tried both processors as a single cpu setup and all is well. The processors are a matched set. This server has been operating fine for the last few months with the single CPU. As a side note I did have a issue about a month ago where when I came in one morning both power supplies had failed one would not display any light at all and the other just had the amber light. I replaced both and it has run fine since until the upgrade to 2 cpu's . Could this be caused by the power distribution board?

Upon doing some further testing I know its a issue with the system and not the Processors. I installed 2 X5520 processors and get the same results as above. Going to try a new power distribution board and see if that resolves the issue. Will keep everyone updates.

I think both of us agree that both the new and the old CPUs are working fine. As well as the CPU slots.
Quick question, both the CPUs are the same X5650?
Besides the E1000 error, any other errors or messages that you are seeing?
Have you try updating the latest BIOS?
