PowerEdge 650 beeping

Greetings,

Our PowerEdge 650 has started beeping over the past day and I cannot determine what is the cause.

Status light is still blue, in open manage I've turned off all beep on error alerts.  Ran diagnostics and everything check out.

Beeps are in no pattern, one long beep pause another long beep.

Anyone have any ideas

Thank you for your time in advance.

    Hi,

Would you reply back with the service tag of the system that is beeping?  If your system has an LSI(formerly American Megatrends)-based RAID controller, such as the Perc2/SC/DC, Perc3/SC/DC, or Perc4DC series controllers, the RAID controller will give a series of long beeps to advise you that at least one hard drive in a RAID array has failed.  If this is the case, the drive in question may simply need to be rebuilt in order to restore the array to proper operation.  If you can provide the service tag of the system, I can direct you to specific instructions on how to resolve the issue.
