Go to SolutionR660 mounted upside down
One of our guys inserted a R660 server upside down into the sliding ReadyRails, without realizing it. Then pushed the server into the rack. It's now locked and stuck. The tabs at the front that normally releases the server does nothing, presumably because it's upside down?
Does anyone have any suggestion what I can do to try to release it?

Hi,
I assume that the rail being installed correctly, only the server is being installed upside down?
The rails have a hook when the server is being pushed into the rack, but if the server is upside down, the hook will bend and there is no hole for the hook to latch:
What I may suggest is removing the rack side door to check around the latch location to see if the latch is broken or bent. If yes, the mechanism will be blocked by bent latch. It would be difficult to remove the server without any damage. In this case, I would suggest contacting technical support to raise a case for engineer support
