Windows 2000 Install error

Hello All:

Getting the following error when installing PERC drivers for a PowerEdge 4300

File txtsetup.oem caused an unexpected error (512) at line 1044 in d:\nt\private\ntos\setup\oemdisk.c

I have tried several different 2000 CD's and ahve also downloaded new drivers. This happens when you hit f6 to isntall the PERC Drivers. Any help would be appreciated.

Are the drivers that you are installing on the A:\ drive or have they been custom integrated into the install of the OS?

Try with Dell PowerEdge "Installation and Server Management" bootable CD v.4.5 to install it. If you don't have Windows 2000 With SP4 you can slipstream it and create a copy with the SP4. For slipstream click here:
