Dell® Precision® 7810 Tower Workstation Component Compatibility ?
I Have a Dell® Precision® 7810 Tower Workstation and Would Like to Upgrade Some of the Internal Components. I Have Purchased 2× Intel® Xeon® E5-2680 v3 Dodeca-core (12 Core) 2.50 GHz Processors- Socket LGA 2011-v3 Along With 8× Sticks of Samsung M393A2G40EB1-CPB 16GB X1 DDR4 2133Mhz ECC Registered CL15 2Rx4 1.2V 288-Pin RDIMM Server Memory PC Memory. Before I Install These Components in My Precision® 7810 Tower Workstation Can Anyone Confirm That These Components Are Compatible with My System ?

If you are still in planning phase, I suggest to get the E5-2680 v4. They are only a few dollars more but will give you over 10 percent in performance gain. Also, it will allow for upgrade to 2400 MHz memory.

Samsung is a brand that has been working in Dell's.
Besides updating BIOS, be sure to do one thing at a time, like make sure it works with the RAM, then do the CPU's.

Hello,
the cpu is supported ( there are reviews with the 2687v3 , so the 2680 is covered ), but you may have to update the bios to the latest version before installing.
As for the ram, the system can be picky with brands and such, so it's advisable to simply try
