Precision 7920 Tower - Resizable BAR Support?
I was just wondering if anyone heard if Dell has any plans to add "Resizable BAR Support" to the Precision 7920 Tower BIOS?
2 people also have this problem

Normally I would agree, however EVGA added it to their "SR-3 Dark" Motherboard. Which leads me to believe the C621 chipset and newer LGA3647 CPU's can handle it too.

BIOS 1.06 (SR-3 Dark) Updates
- Adds Resizable BAR support.

Anyone know if Precision Tower 5820 have resizable bar? Would like to use them for CUDA GPUDirect programming with NVMe drives.
updated : I got a T3640 and T3650,
T3640 is not support resizable bar and confirmed by Dell already.....
but T3650 after BIOS updated, it have resizable option for selection in BIOS screen.
but T3650 is using W580 chipset and 11gen CPU
You guys can try update BIOS first, and please do remember you have to update the GPU BIOS as well.
Do a quick search here in the forum. I have this solved without any BIOS hacks or risky business. I am handily running 2 intel arc pro b70s in one of our T7920s. I plan to add a third this weekend. It also has a separate graphics card to run 2 monitors. I won't re-hash the entire post here, but a 30s search here on the community forum will help. My T7920 is rock solid and 100% Dell settings, BIOS, etc. Changed exactly 1 setting - not the easiest thing to find and do, but it only took me around 30 minutes start to finish. I'll now get another couple of years out these great old machines that now serve key roles in our AI lab.
I added instructions I prepared for configuring MMIO to allow using these higher VRAM cards. This is a super simple 15-30 minute config change that anybody can do. It works like a charm. Wishing all success and many more years of solid performance from your 7920 or 5820

Hello, I seem to be having issues with your instructions for finding the offset. Issue is either in uefi-firmware-parser or IFRExtractor-RS. I can't get uefi-firmware-parser to ouput any thing that IFRExtractor-RS can find IFR data in. Can you help?

Hello,
if I read correctly on the nvidia site, resizable bar support requires a 10th / 11th gen intel cpu ( and corresponding chipset ).
Somehow I'm not too optimist that xeons fit the bill ( happy to be proved wrong anyway )
