cloning and adding more files
Have a precision laptop that i need to clone a 2.5 ssd to an nvme.....no problem....done this several dozen times.
Heres where my ability is inept.
After cloning i need to move all the files including Operating System (Win 11 Pro) to the newly cloned drive.
How do i accomplish this task??

@ejn63 yes i understand cloning.
However my conundrum is not the primary clone, from desktop c dive to laptop nvme c drive.....it is i have a 3rd laptop drive that i need to now copy to the bigger cloned nvme c drive, without damaging the cloned nvme c drive

Make the bootable recovery media for whatever cloning tool you're using, and disconnect the primary drive from the system. Connect the origin and destination drives to the system, and boot from the recovery media to do the cloning. Once done, reconnect the original drive (alone) once and then shut down and connect the storage drive.
That way there's no chance of damaging or overwriting the boot drive.
