Go to SolutionI am passed warranty. My service tag# is xxxxxx Dell 8700 XPS desktop.
When running Dell Supportassist I get the following
Cable - Fail
error code list
Cables - functional tests - D0901
everything seems to be working but I have no idea what this error refers to.

I have a Dell 8700 XPS desktop, too and just saw I got that error when I ran the Support Assist. Cables - Functional Tests - D0901. Mine passed every time April-June 2022. Now all of a sudden, both times I ran this in July have it failing the Cables functional test.

i have same problem.
so, now, my dell g5 se 's monitor is disable !!!

The D0901 error is simply a SupportAssist analytical notation. This is not a hardware fault. In future, Dell will remove these SupportAssist analytical notations from the diagnostic results.
