AIO 940 Printer Installation Problems
I have been trying to install my printer on both my XP SP2 laptop & desktop, I have the disk and run the installation program and then I get a the window
It reads: Cannot install this hardware
There was a problem with this hardware:
DELL AIO A940
An error occurred during the installation of the device
The system could not find the module specified
Click Finish to close wizard then the found new hardware window pops up again
**I click Finish.. it closes for like 3 seconds.. and then the same window pops up again.. also the icon on the lower right portion of the toolbar for new hardware won't close out and it has a bubble constantly reading found new hardware.. it won't go away.. and when I reboot the system it is there waiting for me.. I have installed and reinstalled this printer for 2 days time and time again.. and it still does it. SOMEBODY HELP!!!! When I go through add printer and say I have disk, and select CD drive, I get the message the location specified does not have information on your hardware. This bug is annoying me.. and the DELL guy on the phone was next to nothing when it came to helping me because he was reading off the same procedures I had already done 5 times!!!!
