Hello to the Dell Community -

I have recently received the V515w all-in-one wireless printer. I followed the instructions carefully and am still having problems. The printer is indeed connected to the wireless network, but my computer (Dell Latitude E6400 Laptop) does not recognize it. I've tried to install the software tens of times by now, both with the wireless option and the USB option. Surprisingly, the USB option installed the scanner, which showed that there was a connection between the computer and the printer but nothing more than that. The bottom line is that I cannot choose the printer when I try to print and that it is not shown as one of my printers.

The error message I get is 1797 which states: "Failed to create print object Dell V510 Series (Network) -- tons of question marks".

I also tried to install the printer and device manually, which in both cases the message that I'm getting is that the device manager cannot be found.
