W5300 - snmp support?
Does it exist?
-Nothing on the Dell site confirms or denies.
-Nothing in the manuals confirm or deny.
-No mention is made on the printout reports from the W5300s.
-The menus offer no option to enable/disable.
-The only thing google has offered is the following: http://64.233.187.104/search?q=cache:6vPEkebMmY8J:www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss%3Fuid%3Dnas17997c91965ada7fc86256d43005680a0+snmp+w5300&hl=en
(Make note of the bottom of the first table. SNMP support varies with software driver selection?!)
Also, we have a 5100CN. A quick nmap of the printer yields the following:
PORT STATE SERVICE VERSION
21/tcp open ftp
68/udp open|filtered dhcpclient
80/tcp open http
161/udp open|filtered snmp
515/tcp open printer
9100/tcp open jetdirect
MAC Address: 08:00:37:2A:69:12 (Fuji-xerox CO.)
(Nothing on our network is doing the filtering; I point my finger at the device)
Grumble grumble. Any insight is appreciated.
*EDIT*
Apologies for this message's stickiness. I thought the option would throw it to the top of the regular thread list. Mea culpa.
