Hi.  I got a new computer, and I wanted to install just one of my favorite games.  The very popular, Lord of the Rings: Battle For Middle Earth.  Anyways,  everytime I try to install it, it just stops loading when I insert the second disk.  It stops loading, and no matter how long I wait it does not go beyond 19%.  It is not the particular CDs fault, because I have tried to use a different loading disk, and it still didnt work.  It worked on my old comp.  It ran wndows 2000, though.  I am positive that the game supports windows xp.  I don't know what to do.  It seems to be something unique about the computer and how it reacts to the game.  I will contact EA games as well but I have the feeling that the problem can be solved on this end. 

 

I think there is something about my CD drive.  (PHILIPS CDRW/DVD CD5263)
