Lost of Microsoft Office Key
Hi,
I reinstall to my laptop with factory setting. and Microsoft office application is gone.
I lost the Microsoft office key due to some reason. and not able to reinstall the application.
could you help me to get back the key, as i only have the laptop service tag.
Manufacture:Dell
Model: Latitude E5520
Type:laptop
Service tag: <
ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>
Os:windows 7 professional sp1 x64

Even though i have the Service Tag, Dell also not able to retrieve back the product key for me?

Hi cktoh,
The MS office product key provided by Microsoft. Dell does not keep a copy of it.

The Microsoft Website tells the customer to contact the OEM Manufacturer who bundled Office with the computer. Wonderful job of finger pointing.

Hi cktoh,
I am sorry about the situation. If the product key is lost, there is no way to replace it. You will have to purchase the software again.
