Maybe I just cant see it but I am trying to do text wrapping around a photograph within a 'story' However I know and can see the logo in the toolbar ( dog in text) but although I am told that i just choose align with.....
I cant see that either it just asks if I want to customise - am I missing something.?
In Word 2007, if you click on the picture itself, Picture Tools and Format will come up on the ribbon at the top, and Text Wrapping is to the right of that. There are options to have the text wrap around the picture. If you use the Tight option, you'll like the Edit Wrap Points to shape the text around a picture that's not quite square. If you do edit the wrap points, you'll want to be sure and go to Send to Back directly above that, and select Send Behind Text.
I know some folks don't like the newest Word, but I lovelovelove their graphics options. It took me awhile to learn them- still learning!- but it's fun to mess with 'em all.
My best advice is to do what I did... make an extra copy of the file you're working on- name it something like "whatever_copy1.doc" and just play with it and see how it looks best. That way if you hate it you still have your original unchanged and unsullied!
thank you that was the missing link - I wasnt clicking on the picture or maybe I was sometimes but not realizing, hence knowing that it was ok then not being able to find it again. We never stop learning do we. thank you again
