Connection to projector
I have a Vostro 1000 laptop and a Sony CPJ-100 LCD projector. Is there any adapter that I can get that will help me connect the two? My laptop does not have s-video out and the projector has only s-video and RCA -red, yellow, white video/sound cables?

Thanks, So much!! I ordered an adapter from ebay and hopefully my problem is solved. Really appreciate it! Will let you know when I get the connector how it works.

This is a VERY uncommon adapter. I've actually never seen one, Tiger Direct doesn't carry one...
I was able to find some on ebay. Here's a link: http://search.ebay.com/vga-composite_W0QQ
Most of these will convert the VGA to both/either S-Video and Composite.
If you use composite, you'll only use the yellow. The white/red are audio cables which won't be sending anything from the VGA signal.
