Bomb, This is just to add to your question because it is what I am looking for as well. I am interested in taking the same certification test. I have already taken the foundations exam. With the current economy, training budget has been very very tight ...almost zero. So, getting training for me right now is really close to impossible. I wish EMC had materials we can pay by ourselves like the ISM book to help us prepare for certification exams especially for those of us who work on EMC products every day. Paying 4 to 5 grand out of pocket for training is pretty steep...I know it is for me..~(

The success of the Information Storage and Management book is really exciting for us; we're happy that it helped with the Associate level exam.

We know that cost is a consideration for any education or certification.  That's why we offer our education in a variety of ways to suit individual needs & budgets.  Most of our courses are offered as instructor led but also offer alternatives such as Video Instructor Led Training (VILT) that delivers training on a CD and provides a near-classroom experience at less cost.  Also, our eLearning options are another great alternative.

It's difficult for many people to invest in learning right now, but when you think about it...what better time to improve your skills and get ready for the deluge of information that IDC and nearly everyone in the industry is talking about?  It's about making an investment in your skills, an investment in your future, an investment in you.  I really hope that you can find a way to earn your certification and join our growing community.

so basically as far as EMC books, the only available book for now is for 001 - ISM exam?! - there is no other book offered by EMC or any other recommended books? if not i will have to go by yoour recommendation and use probabaly the video insttructor - let me know if you can for the books

Thank you Michelle. I have seen the "Trainig without travel......" offerings. But still, $3960.00 just for the material for this test alone seems a bit high to me....

Anyway, I guess that is the only option for now.

Hello, we do have eLearning, Video Instructor-Led Training (VILT) and of course classroom training avilable for the E20-522.  Information Storage and Management was our first and only book this year.  I will pass on your comments and request for more books.
