I have a Dell powerEdge R530 server that has ESXi 6.5 Update 3 Build 14874964 installed.
Recently popped up an error that can be seen through idrac, under Recent Logged Events it says - Multi-bit memory errors found on the memory device at location (s) DIMM_A1.
And the hypervisor itself began to look like this pictured
Did I understand correctly that you need to potentially prepare for replacing the memory strip from the DIMM A1 slot or simply remove it from the server considering it unreliable?
You can remove the bad DIMM and check the behavior. How many DIMM you have on the server. It is recommended to have memory on A1 slot so I would recommend to remove DIMM on A1 and replace with DIMM from another slot(last) on the server.

This is another advantage of ECC Memory if it detects multiple errors which cant be resolved it stops the Host.
So maybe you have a bad Dimm after years of running so prepare to replace it.
