Recoverpoint CDP question
Hi!
I set up Recoverpoint CDP configuration. 2 RPA, 2 host with kutils driver, VNX.
Replication working fine, but there is a error in the gui which shows:
There is no FC connectivity between RPA-s
San diagnostics running fine. I make this zones:
- host to rpa
- rpa to storage
- host to storage
Documentation doesnt mention RPA to RPA zones.
Any tips?

thanks. I dont want to use distributed consistency group. Just a simple conistency group.
Why dont mention the install guide that?
I found it in the Admin guide in the distributed CG section ...

BP for zoning when using RP, not RP/SE, is to create one zone with RPA and all SP ports. Take a look at the "EMC RecoverPoint Zoning and LUN Masking Technical Notes" guide. Attaching a screenshot as well. Should be on page 8 of the guide.

As far as why it's not mentioned in the install guide, not really sure. Maybe EMC should add it or point to the admin guide.

You are not supposed to use Installation Guide after RP 3.1.
From Powerlink:
The RecoverPoint Installation Guide describes how to install and upgrade RecoverPoint appliances (RPAs), RecoverPoint software, and KDrivers. It also provides information on tools to manage RPAs and diagnose problems.
Note: For RecoverPoint 3.2 and later, use the RecoverPoint Deployment Manager Product Guide.

RP or RP/SE?
If you want to get rid of that error just add the RPA ports to the same zone. If you want to use Distributed Consistency Groups it's actually required you zone the RPAs together.
