RecoverPoint for VM - Maintenance Mode error

Hi,

following installation of recover point for VM 4.2P1, I am unable to protect any VM as I get the following error:

Action cannot be committed because the system is in maintenance mode - wait for the system to exit maintenance mode then try again.

I am using a trial license.

Anyone seen this before?

Hi,

Did Deployment Manager complete successfully? Was the RPVM cluster connected to another cluster and did that process fail?

To exit maintenance mode, ssh to the vRPA and login using the admin account and execute: finish_maintenance_mode

Yes that did the trick.

I do not understand why the RPAs where in maintenance mode initially...
