pst archiving using xtract

I'm trying to archive a pst file using emailxtract 4.7. If I run an archive task, will this archive task process both the contents of the mailbox and the contents of the pst file. I really only want to process the contents of the pst file. What is the best way to deal with this scenario?

    You should just select only the PST file that you want to archive and no mailbox. You can watch the dates to insure that only the data from the PST file are archived. The data that gets archived is subject to the task selections.
