The D/4300 has a maximum of 512MB memory.

Thans a bunch for this info. Is there a brand that you suggest or does it matter? Is there anything else that I need to know before I tackle this project?  As you can probably  tell I don't have a clue what I am doing.  I just know I want and I want now

this would be the type of memory that you need to go for, aprt from this i don't think you need know to upgrade your mmemory
