Automatic repair problem

I have a dell inspiron 3542 laptop.when I power on my laptop it shows preparing automatic repair and goes to a black screen.please help.its warranty has also expired.

    Now is when you need the emergency boot disk you prepared when you first set up Windows. What operating system do you have?
