Dell Dimension 4700 with SATA hard dive will not boot to an IDE hard drive.
I am trying to replace a faulty SATA HDD in this dimension with a Working IDE one.

I changed the BIOS to allow booting to IDE drives and disabled the SATA drive in BIOS.

System will not boot to IDE HDD. 

Can anybody give me an idea on what to do.
I can't get a new SATA DRIVE (COSTS) and was wanting to use an 80GB IDE HDD instead.
