Can't get Java to work

When anyone tries to use online games like those from Candystand.com on my PC it won't work and says that "We have detected that you do not have javascript enabled.
In order to play games on this site, you must enable javascript." I have all scripting enabled in Internet Options/Security/Custom Level. I also have Java updated to the most recent version. Can someone help me out with this?

Is there any way to see what is blocking it?

You'll need to unblock it, at least for the sites that require it.

Do you have any software installed that might be blocking Javascript (antivirus, security suite such as Norton Internet Security, Zone Alarm, etc.)?

Of the above mentioned software packages, which one(s) are you running on your system?
