Hi,

I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 9100 (about 3 weeks old).
I am having problems every time I place a cdrom or dvd into the DVD+RW CDRW drive, explorer just stops responding.  The only way I can eventually read the disc is by ending the explorer process and taking the disc out and reinserting it.  I normally have to do this process about 3 times before it works.  Normally takes about 15 to 20 minutes before I can read the disc.

Does anyone have any ideas?
