Correct HD Controller Driver

I own a Lattitude XPi CD M166ST.  After reformatting the HD I did a clean install of Windows 98SE.  After the install I downloaded and installed the necessary drivers from the Dell Support page.  Here's the problem.  I downloaded the IDE Controller and copied it to a floppy.  While trying to install I received two options:

CDM PCI-0646
CDM PCI-0643

Which one do I select?  Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the info.  Just in case I might need these drivers again on another laptop, what is the difference between  0646 and 0643?  Thanks again.

Why are there two choices on the same installation disk?  This is very confusing.  Some later or newer versions do not necessarily apply to an older operating system.   For example Windows 95 and 98 may need version 0643 while newer operating systems may require 0646.  I would really like to know what the difference is between 0643 and 0646.  Thanks again for reading.

I could not find any Dell Laptop that used this CMD 0643 driver and W95 and W3.1 both use the same CMD 0646 driver as your model, so I can't answer your concern.
