Hello, please help me i know my password i didnt change it in my window 7 laptop when i type it it say hdd password invalidate. Can you help me? Thank you.
The only way to have this fixed, is to call Dell, if you're out of warranty, Dell will require you to pay a service charge and prove ownership to obtain an override password.
The password is stored in a flash EEPROM on the motherboard.
You could also, replace both the motherboard and hard drive.
