You cannot clear windows files with linux.

Not sure why you think that would be ok.

Clearing logs is part of the same Administrator area that would allow you to delete files.

You cannot clear logs as a user or guest.

Clearing Bios logs is done from F2 bios.

Because I read a question and answer about this way on this website, I went to find this file. When I opened it with a text editor, it was probably the logs in the EPSA self-checking program. F2 BIOS also found many times, several logs, but not this self-checking procedure (EPSA).

Is it solved now? I have the same problem, vostro 5581. I used unbutu desktop CD to find DIAGEEPROM_VAR_XXXXX in / sys/firmware/efi/efivars/directory. But there is no authority to delete it or modify it. Prompt root is not the creator (owner) of this file

There are only three about log options in bios:           

BIOS event, Thermal event, Power event.           

Every one has been cleared, but it has no effect.           

Please tell me where to clear EPSA Log in bios.

I really can't find it.
