I have installed Dell Openmanage Array Manager 3.4.1 in many server Dell Power Edge 2650,with Windows 2003 Server standard edition. I have Dell Openmanage Array Manager Console 3.4.1 in my desktop (O.S. Windows 2000 server). I can manage all server with Windows 2000 Server O.S. from my Array Manager Console, but i can't connect to Array Manager installed on server with O.S windows 2003.
Can you run Array Manager locally on the Win2003 servers? The Array Manager software requires that the Dell Perc drivers are loaded and sometimes will not function properly if using the standard Microsoft drivers.
yes, i can run Array Manager locally on Windows 2003 server. I've used the correct driver and firmware for Perc3/di. Also, i can connect remotely Array Manager 3.4.1 installed on Windows 2003 Server only when i launch Array Manager Console from a server with Windows 2003 Server operating system.
The Array Manager is not fully integrated into Win2003 as it was with previous Operating Systems. I believe the remote access to a Win2003 box from a Win2000 box is one feature which is not fully functional yet. There should be a new version release in the near future.
many thanks for your informations, for now i can use Remote Desktop for connect to server with Windows 2003 Server and then launch Array Manager. I'm waiting for new release of Array Manager.
Has this been remedied yet? I have 380 remote Windows 2003 domain controllers that I cannot access remotely via the Array Manager software. I cannot change the domain name from the machine name. Thanks!

Hi,
