Changing BIOS Setting

Hi,

We have a customer at a remote site with PowerEdge 840 PC running Fedora Core 7.

We have a Digium card installed in this box which seems to be causing the machine to lock up.  We think this may be because the NIC and Digium card are sharing the same IRQ.

I wonder if someone could tell me if there's a utility we could install remotely that allows us to force the BIOS IRQ settings?  I've had a look at using "omconfig chassis biossetup" but I can't find any attribute in this which allows us to force an IRQ.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards,

J.

Thanks for posting!  omconfig will not let you change that BIOS setting, but if you have a DRAC card you can use the console redirect feature to get into the system BIOS manually.  Bear in mind that you will want to connect to another system on that network first, then use a browser to get to the DRAC card.  That will keep you from having problems with firewalls and ports not being open on your remote connection.
