Firmware versions
Hi,
I'm trying to see what the latest Firmware versions for m710HD are listed on the Dell Website.
But if I compare what the chassis says is my current version for the Lifecycle Controller (1.5.1.57), I cannot figure out which of 7 packages I should download to update this component.
Same for Network I/F Controller (Broadcom NetXtreme II 10 Gigabit Ethernet (Integrated 1-1-1 and 1-2-1) (Version 6.2 currently)
Can someone pls explain how to read the packages correctly?
Also for the OS Drivers pack it pops up and says "OS Driver Pack updates require that the Extended Storage feature is enabled". What does that mean??
I am applying the updates from the Chassis (Chassis Controller/Server Overview/Update)

Hello John,
Sorry for the trouble.
Let me start by clarifying what the different packages are for LC:-
BDF_*.usc
- These are repair packages that need to be flashed using the iDRAC GUI when Lifecycle Controller goes into recovery mode.
DLCI_*.exe
- Dell Lifecycle Controller Integration is a plugin to integrate LC capabilities into Microsoft SCCM.
Drivers-for-OS-Deployment_Application_*.exe, DRVPK_*.exe
- This is the OS Driver pack for the OS deployment feature of LC.
The package of primary interest to you as far as updating Lifecycle Controller is: LC_APP_WIN_R296663.EXE.
The Broadcom update should be: Network_Firmware_JXJWY_WN_7.0.47_A00.EXE.
