Hyperthreading activation
Hello,
I'm working on several servers PE4600 with Linux Red Hat 7.3, and I'm looking for a way to enable Hyperthreading while the server is online, in order just to have to planify a reboot by night (out of production) to have it activated the next day.
I found the fantastic command "omconfig chassis biossetup cpuht enable" which exactly do what I want.
But my problem is that it only works with OpenManage 5.0 and more... And it requires Red Hat Enterprise 3.0 minimum. I tryed to install it anyway but with no success (too much troubles of library dependance).
Does anyonoe has an idea to manage this problem ?
A way to install OM 5.0 on an old Linux OS ?
Or a similar command compatible with old Openmange (I have OM 3.2.2 on the servers) ?
Thanks for any idea,
