SRM version is 4.1

Are you discovering the File part as well?

Thx a lot Isaka, I changed the type from Unified to Unity and it worked.

So two out of 3 are taken care but still one VNX array is still giving an error. I thought it is genuine authentication error but I can login to VNX thru web interface.

That last help if you can suggest some resolution

Does the account have administrator privilege ?

You can test the account with the command below:

(/opt/Navisphere/bin) ./naviseccli -h -user -password -scope 0 getagent

Problem is I am able to access VnX via GUI with admin and passwd but cannot putty into it , tried admin , nasadmin and roor userid.

I opened case with EMC.

Just realized that Unity collector uses an API and not naviseccli... Do you have a custom banner in setup on the Array ?

If you have a custom banner setup you have to click accept in order to get to the login page....the collector doesnt click on accept.

It may be possible to setup a challenge string by going to the hub and generating an access key; in any case you will probably need support's assistance
