vFoglight Storage 2.0.2 for 3PAR storage

Hi all,

I would like to ask whether it is possible to add HP 3PAR storage with the latest version of the SAM downloaded straight via the vFolight console.

I found the following KB which states that this was listed as a future enhancement on version 1.6.1 but nothing else...

If you are running with a filer head on the 3Par that would explain it. That view does not show the NFS performance statistics, just VMDK based at the present. The data is there, it just is not rendered.

Hi Andrew,

Unfortunately, it is not possible with vFoglight Storage 2.0.2. It is still in the future enhancement category

Andrew,

To the best of my knowledge, that should not be the case. This particular chart is driven by VMware metrics, not storage itself.

Thanks for the clarification.

So, does this lack of compatibilty explains also why I do not get any Disk Utilization performance charts under the "Performance" tab of an ESX host?
