It would seem AproposMedia is my personal Demon.  Microsoft Anti-Spyware detects it, and says it has removed it, but it never actually does.

The only thing that looks ugly in the log (other than some missing files for some Sony services) is:

    O15 - Trusted Zone: http://ny.contentmatch.net (HKLM)

If checking and Fix Checked won't remove it you can get rid of it with DelDomain.inf:

    Get DelDomain.inf from:

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/restricted.htm  and then right click on it and Install.

The O15 entry is associated with a Mirar Toolbar infection but I see no signs of it being active.

    Mirar Toolbar

There are reports of a false positive for  AproposMedia where Microsoft AntiSpy detects an ATI file as AproposMedia.  Does it tell you where the file is that it thinks is Apropos?
