    Hi:

What model computer? When did you buy it? Can you boot into safe mode?

To determine your model, click on Start>Programs>Accessories>System tools>System information.
The System model is listed in the right panel.

When did you buy this? The date is important.
What exactly is the problem? If you are getting any error messages, please quote the exact text of the message.

Have you tried System Restore in Safe Mode, to take your PC back to a date when things were working?
    Click on Start> Programs> Accessories> System Tools> System Restore

Have you tried running your antivirus or any anti-spyware programs while in Safe Mode?

    William159:

If you cannot run run your Antivirus, or if it cannot fix your problem in Safe Mode, try the following:

Download the free utility HijackThis, install it and run a scan. Have it generate a logfile, then copy/paste that logfile in the HijackThis board here: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=si_hijack

When you make your post there, state exactly what problem you are having. Be patient, and wait for an expert to advise you on what to do. (It may take a day or two- they are very busy).
