In the last couple of days my control panel has disappeared and if I try to make changes to the system I get the message "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer Please contact your system administrator".

I also get frequent messages telling me my computer is infected with malware. Also when browsing the web I keep getting directed to different search engines.

I am using Windows XP home edition on a standalone Dell desktop.

I have Norton, AVG, Smith Fraud Fix and Spyware Blaster installed.

Can anyone out there help ?
