I recommend checking the MirrorView White Paper. On the support site (https://support.emc.com), search for 'White Paper: MirrorView Knowledgebook 30 - 33 - A Detailed Review'. In that document, in the MirrorView management section (pages 55 to 69), you'll find a guide on how to manage mirrors.

Another option is to check the Help section in Unisphere itself. In there, search for 'Create a remote asynchronous mirror' (or navigate from How do I protect data > Replicate block storage LUNs on a remote storage system).

Finally, a useful KB article about MirrorView guides is https://support.emc.com/kb/17061.

Actually, this article is like a reference for many other linked articles inside. So, if you have a problem accessing the Knowledge Base articles, a PDF version will not help. For checking why your account can't access KBs, you can email support@emc.com describing this problem.

As for the mirror guide, I still think the first two options (the White Paper and Unisphere Help) can help guide you on how to set up MirrorView.

Yes. Customer needed help with MirrorView/Async. We need to reconfigure MirrorView network and so on. They have file and block replicate across the WAN with MirrorView.

If they are using MirrorView/Async to replicate file systems that are served from the VNX data mover than its not something that is EMC supported
