VPLEX Support for TMS RAMSAN ?

Hi all VPLEX experts

Anyone knows if Texas Memory Systems RAMSAN (now IBM FlashSystem)) is supported under VPLEX

have anyone tried it ?

Hi,

I am not Vplex Expert but SVC specialist.

SVC supports IBM FlashSystems and EMC supports IBM SVC according to the EMC compatibility matrix.

So Vplex will support FlashSystems via SVC

But I don't think we cannot Flashsystems directly to Vplex.

This is my question too

Not currently supported for direct attach (aka without IBM SVC). Work with your EMC account / support team to request support through the RPQ process.

Well... EMC supports SVC in a sense of connecting storage arrays to SVC but I would say that EMC will not support attaching VPLEX to SVC or vice versa ;-)

So "Vplex will support FlashSystems via SVC" might not be true...
