Accessing Windows Help Files
My system will not show any help files. I get an error that reads "Can't open help file" . I've also have got an error msg that tells me that my computer is not confiqured for help files. I've checked for the presence of the Help files on my hard disk. I am running XP Home on a Insprion 1200 laptop. Any advise on how to get my computer to open these files?

Your help and support service may be disabled.
Click Start->Run.
In the run dialog type Services.msc and then click OK.
Scroll down to Help in Support in the list of services.
Right click help and support and select Properties from the list.
In the Startup Type dropdown menu select Automatic if not currently set to that option.
Then click the Start button if not currently started.
Then click OK and close the services dialog.
