Advanced Networking Disabled

Studio 17 with Vista

This is my daughter's computer.

I had to contact Support last week to correct some bad registry problems and bad software that moved it (PC Mover) when I transferred files from her old computer. They performed the fix by taking over the computer through the  Remote Access. I had to download the software they use. In order to fix the problem the Tech disabled Advanced Networking and advised me to leave it off. Now whenever she boots up the computer there will be a message indicating Advanced Networking is disabled and Remote Access won't work without it. She has to click the message off each time. How do I get the mesage to stop popping up ?

Thanks

The Dell Remote Access software is different than the Dellconnect software the techs use to connect to your computer. The Dell Remote Access software enables you to access your own computer from another with internet access. To rid of the message, go to programs and features and uninstall Dell Remote Access Software. Will still be able to connect with Tech Support if Needed, and you can always reinstall the Dell Remote Access software from the website if you need.
