I agree with GioAguilar. Information regarding driver updates from Microsoft is almost non-existent. You are much better off getting any required drivers from Dell or from the device manufacturer.

Drivers update are better to get from the manufacter's website or directly from Dell. In there you'll find more in formation about those updates. With Windows Updates, you can get the info with the KB for each update.

When you're at the windows update screen, and you see something like Update for windows Vista (KB931836), that's the KB you can type at microsoft.com to see information about the update you're installing

But under Vista that information is not provided.  I've posted all of the information that is provided in the windows update screen.

FYI - A response in the XPS forum indicated that this particular update is for FW 162.22.

 

It maybe that because this is an nVidia update versus a Microsoft Update no additional information is available or provided, but, if my memory serves I'm fairly certain that even the MS Updates did not have any more information that what I posted.
