Cannot access secure websites, why?

When trying to access a secure web site we get a message saying "...page not found, check settings."

How is this done?

    IE   Tools/Internet Options/Advanced - Security

Do you have the SSL boxes checked?

Thanks for the info. Yes, the SSL boxes are checked but that has not helped.

    Jr08,

I had the same problem. In "Tools->Internet Options->Connections->Lan Settings" check your proxy settings. If proxy server is enabled then that is your problem, disable proxy server and that should work for you. I think some IE update enables proxy server by default which screws things up.
