I cant download any of my update for windows vista and i also cant download an antivirus. I am also having trouble with  the active x control not working properly. I have vista home basic. when i try to download the antivirus from the disk it dont even open the disk and when i try to do it from the web site it goes so far into the download then stops and tells me it cant be done.  i have dial up  cause i cant get dsl where i live.So it takes for ever for the download. Ant the updates it trys to to install them but it just tell me the same thing it does for the antivirus. I have 9 of them that need done and they are inportant ones. i have no games or music on the computer. I have 512mb ram on an emachine. I have lots of free space more then what i need for the updates. so i know it cant be rom that. If there is anything else you need just coment back thank you.
