Cineplayer CD/DVD Software
My computer came pre-installed with the Dell CinePlayer Media Experiance.
The Update Control Manager of the install shield indicates that there are two updates available for my system several times when the computer is turned on.
1. Cineplayer/DMX update patch for update manager
2. Cineplayer/DMX update patch for DMX/Cineplayer
both with file sizes of 10.11MB each. When asked to downlaod and install it goes thru the process and eventually pops the message error, reproduced here "This Update is not designed for the application version you currently have installed."
I tried to upgarde this software manually by downloading the file DMPlus2001upg from the Dell site, and tried to install it. This file reported the following error
"Setup cannot find a valid version of this software to upgrade.
Please advice as to what I could do.

Tried to find another post in DMX Forum, but this Forum has recently been removed & in the process it looks like post has been deleted? DMX post topics are now incorporated into Forum board Software - Other Software
